Notifications & settings
Preview
The native apps are not available for public download yet. Use Veridien in your browser.
Two screens keep the app personal to you: Notifications, for the events that need attention, and Settings, for your profile, security, active sessions, and app preferences.
Notifications
Open the sidebar and select the bell at the top to open your notifications. The bell shows a badge when you have unread items.
- Unread and All. A toggle at the top switches between unread items, with a count, and the full history.
- Mark all as read. Clears the unread state for everything at once.
- Notifications are grouped by time (Today, Yesterday, This week, Earlier) and sorted newest first.
Each notification shows an icon, a title, a one-line detail, and a timestamp. Two actions sit on each one:
- View details opens the relevant screen. For a departure alert, that is the guest's reservation. If the notification belongs to another property, the app asks you to switch to that property from the sidebar first.
- Dismiss marks the notification as read.
To choose which events notify you, open Settings and select Notifications. Events are grouped under Reservations, Front desk, Housekeeping, Reminders, and Mentions.
Settings
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open Settings. The screen shows your name and email at the top, followed by these rows.
Profile
Change your Profile picture, your Full name, and your preferred name under What should Veridien call you?, which the dashboard and Vesper use to address you. Your Email is shown here too.
Under Appearance, choose Light, Dark, or System. Your choice is saved to your account, so it follows you across devices and matches the theme you pick on the web under Settings > Profile.
Security
Change your Password, and turn two-factor authentication on or off with an authenticator app or email codes.
Active sessions lists every device signed in to your account, with its approximate location. Your current device is marked Current session. Select Terminate next to any other session to sign it out remotely, which is useful if you lose a device.
Notifications
Turn individual notification types on or off, as described above.
Properties
Your properties lists the properties your account belongs to.
App
- Haptic feedback. A switch for the subtle vibrations the app uses to confirm actions.
- Information. App and legal information.
Log out
Log out signs you out of the app on this device.
