Veridien now has a version number, and this is the first post of a changelog that starts from it. Everything before 0.1.0 was built and shipped continuously without release notes. From here, every release gets a version and a short post like this one, so you can see what changed and where to find it.
The product you can use today: front desk with check-in and check-out, a reservations calendar and list, guest profiles, folios and invoicing in more than one currency, rate plans, packages and promotions, a channel manager connected through Channex, a restaurant point of sale, housekeeping, expenses and finance accounts, reports, a loyalty program, a guest stay portal, and Vesper, the assistant for staff. The app runs in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Chinese, on the web, on desktop and on mobile.
Releases are numbered by what they carry. A release with a new feature bumps the middle number (0.2.0), a release that only fixes things bumps the last one (0.1.1), and 1.0 arrives when the first hotel is live on our new hosting. Each one lands here the day it ships.
